NAVIGATING SUCCESS: How to Make a Decision when there's too much Choice

NAVIGATING SUCCESS: How to Make a Decision when…

I was in the supermarket the other day, buying Easter Eggs for close friends, and it took an inordinate amount of time; even I was thinking, this is ridiculous! The difficulty was caused by there being too much choice in the packaging. Which one would I be proud to give? Or, more likely, which one I would like to receive?

The operation involved much choosing and changing my mind. It was like doing the Hokey-Cokey with my trolley: you put the best egg in, the best egg out, in out, in out and shake it all about….
What I should have done is embrace the mindset of it being a delicious experiment in decision-making:

EMBRACE THE VARIETY: Allow yourself to appreciate the diversity and abundance that surrounds you;
TRUST YOUR CRAVINGS: Intuition often guides us to the choice that bring the most joy;
INDULGE IN THE EXPERIENCE: Allow yourself to be fully present and enjoy this moment of choosing;
EMBRACE THE OUTCOME: Every chocolate experience offers something valuable; whether it’s comfort, excitement or the sheer joy of opening the box.

In the end, whether faced with a chocolate dilemma or a life-changing decision, approach it with Curiosity, Joy and a touch of Delight.

After all, in the journey of life, a little sweetness goes a long way.
